Another couple of pages from my Rainy Day kit...

Finally a Munny!

Inspired by ScarlettCat I finally started painting my munny. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. A nice way to spend a Friday night!

A little GIVEAWAY!

I won Prompt No. 5 at the Creative Type a couple of weeks ago and my prize was a $20 Gift Certificate to OneGoodBumbleBee which I was very excited about.

I went straight to the shop dropped my items into the cart and headed for the checkout. Only to find that the shipping for my $18 worth of goods was going to be $24. They appear only to ship Priority to New Zealand not the much-cheaper option of First Class and I haven't had any reply to my many emails begging them to fix this error.

So long story short, I have a $20 gift voucher to give away to someone lucky! Just leave me a comment letting me know what hand-made present you would most like to get for Christmas this year and next Friday (my time) I will randomly pick a name. Hopefully someone else can enjoy a little goodness!

Save it for a rainy day...

And today was that day! With the terrible financial climate at the moment, buying kits from overseas is beginning to get a little on the pricey side so I used the money I would normally spend and bought my own today....

And here is what I have made with it today. I moved all my scrapping stuff to the coffee table and watched Arrested Development on DVD. Eventually the sun came out!

Back to work tomorrow but I have had a lovely few days off. Not long till Christmas now anyway!

Recharge Me!

I have had the last couple of days off work to make a really long weekend spent on me time. I really needed to recharge, it's been one hell of a year! I've had a really good time, shopping, art journaling, scrapping, weddings, and a really great car run (aussie/american cars) on Friday night. Here are the cars (we went in my soon-to-be step-father-in-law's fully restored 1959 Ford, which he did himself and it only took 19 years!)...

And then a lot of resting, eating and some scrapping (using some old RVA kits)...

It was a good day!

Last Saturday was a really good day, ordinary and really good. It deserved documenting. I'm hoping this weekend will be even better!

The Creative Type #6

This is my take on prompt #6 - Mix it up. I used some of the October RVA kit too. These are some words I like to (or try to!) live by. I thought it would be hard thinking of enough words but they just kept coming. Great Fun!

Frustrated...

I'm feeling frustrated and bored and fidgity and ready to explode out of my skin tonight. I have so much stuff running through my head I can't sleep or concentrate or anything. I hope this passes quickly but my suspicion is that there is some stuff that needs to be dealt with instead of ignored.

December Daily 2008

I decided to play along with Ali and create a December Daily book. I started and finished yesterday and did pretty well with using stuff I already had. Just bought a couple of papers (cause I have to have something new right?) and put it all together last night. Here are a few of my favourite pages...
