Textures

I have been having some fun playing  with textures for work and have come up with some interesting results. So thought I'd share a couple of attempts...

Probably a little bit overkill but it's good practice for me. I love learning new techniques and skills in my job!

Spring Favourites

Taking my cue from Kara's class, here are some of my favourite spring photos. I need them today because the sky is grey, it is raining hard and there is snow on the hills. Not particularly springish weather.

Busy, busy, busy

I am still here but have been super busy with work and life so haven't been doing much crafty stuff.
I have been/will be doing:
  • hand painting a brochure
  • embroidery for work
  • sewing like crazy (some successful, some not)
  • baking these (super yum)
  • starting this class
  • gardening
  • enjoying the sun
  • watching this
  • doing a photo swap with MsDebs
So I have been doing a bit but not much to put on here. I'll be back with my first pages from Kara's class soon.

Check this out!

Have you seen Kara's new class? It's not even Fall (Autumn) here, thank goodness (I'm not a huge fan) but I'm such a huge fan of Kara's class that I am going to take it anyway and adapt it for Spring.
Anyway, you should go check it out and sign up!

A few layouts

Haven't been up to much lately but here are a few LO's I never photographed until this morning.

A new start

New beginnings, a ray of hope, a fresh start, a breath of fresh air. Starting anew. Wiping the slate clean. Saying no to holding on. Letting go of it all. Starting again.

How am I gonna cope?

New music on my iPod, new jewellery, a smile on my face, a deep breathe and steady as she goes.

Have you seen this?

New Hats for all!

When Tracy saw me make this hat for the Blythes...

...she new she had to have one! So this is what I have made her. Hopefully she gets her parcel before she sees this!
