Probably a little bit overkill but it's good practice for me. I love learning new techniques and skills in my job!
Textures
I have been having some fun playing with textures for work and have come up with some interesting results. So thought I'd share a couple of attempts...
Spring Favourites
Taking my cue from Kara's class, here are some of my favourite spring photos. I need them today because the sky is grey, it is raining hard and there is snow on the hills. Not particularly springish weather.
1. spring_flower_tulips1, 2. spring sprang, 3. 140/365 (i see spring with my eyes for the first time.), 4. Spring in York (83 /three 6 five), 5. I found myself face down in the grass, 6. Spring flavour !, 7. Lemonade, 8. Sun Catcher, 9. Golden Spring, 10. March Phoenix Desert Spring Blooms, 11. rainbow in sprinkler, 12. Boing Boing.... Spring has sprung
Busy, busy, busy
I am still here but have been super busy with work and life so haven't been doing much crafty stuff.
I have been/will be doing:
I have been/will be doing:
- hand painting a brochure
- embroidery for work
- sewing like crazy (some successful, some not)
- baking these (super yum)
- starting this class
- gardening
- enjoying the sun
- watching this
- doing a photo swap with MsDebs
Check this out!
Have you seen Kara's new class? It's not even Fall (Autumn) here, thank goodness (I'm not a huge fan) but I'm such a huge fan of Kara's class that I am going to take it anyway and adapt it for Spring.
Anyway, you should go check it out and sign up!
