Love So Good

Here is a quick layout I put together during NSD15 using a challenge over at Studio Calico to use three or more photos. I used the Lisse Street Scrapbook kit for this one and it was the perfect opportunity to scrap some of our wedding photos. You can see more detailed photos here. Here is the process video of how this layout came together...

Pet Photo Tips

I'm over on the Citrus Twist Kits blog today sharing my tips for capturing your furry friends and this layout, hop on over and check it out!

Say Cheese

This layout was for the NSD15 Pinterest Inspiration Challenge over on Studio Calico, which I actually ended up winning! I used the inspiration pin fairly literally, you can see more detailed photos here. Here is the process video of how his layout came together...

Succulent Sunday

As we head into winter here, these little pretties are pretty much the only signs of life around here. Luckily I have a whole window sill full to keep the smile on my face.

Project Life :: Week 18

It was a pretty bad week as far as photo-taking went this week. But an easy way to fill up those empty spots is to use a cute alpha (helps if they are glittery like the ones in June's Sprinkles kit!) to make little mini title cards describing what went on. I took some inspiration from Geralyn and stitched two slots in a Design A page protector to create this style. I've been using Design K for quite a while now so I'm liking the change.

Non-Weekly Project Life :: Celebrate 60

I realised I never shared this layout from last month Citrus Twist Kits Pocket Life and Embellishment kits. This layout documents my mothers 60th birthday and our trip away to celebrate together. I love using clear pockets in this album and I used the large chipboard title on top of the pockets to keep it as flat as possible. And a pocket full of sequin stars? Love.

Non-weekly Project Life :: Love Autumn

I put together this quick page for my non-weekly project life ablum after our trip to Central Otago. Autumn really is the best time to see CO, the colours are breathtaking. I cut down a page protector to 9x12 for this one and used the Pantomime add-on kit from Studio Calico. A simple page that came together quickly and easily, here the process video (and once again, sorry for the lighting!)...

Project Life :: Week 17

I really had to resist the urge to hoard this amazing aqua alpha in June's Pocket Life kit from Citrus Twist Kits. Instead I made good use of the glitter alpha from the June Sprinkles kit! Also, so many amazing wood veneer pieces this month. I love having my cards be mainly white, it really lets the colours in the photos stand out.

I'm continuing to work through the backlog of weeks that still need completing. I've been keeping my photo printing up to date and storing them in my planner along with notes from each week. That way I still have a vague idea of what went on!

Project Life :: Week 12

The June Pocket Life kit from Citrus Twist Kits is so versatile this month. You can totally rock the bright summery colours, but just as easily create a more neutral page like this. I love the greys and neutrals with a pop of bright citrus yellow.

I love the Lawn Fawn Cole's ABCs die that is available in the shop as well. Even the negative cut made a great background card.

Project Life :: Week 15

I used the May Pocket Life and Embellishment kits from Citrus Twist Kits for my Week 15. I love using the sheets of stickers or puffy stickers included in the kits over a layout, it pulls together all the cards and makes the whole layout look much more coordinated! You can see below. Here is my Week 15 process video (and once again, sorry for the lighting, I promise to have sorted it out soon!)...

Around Here

Its been so dark and wet around here lately. Mostly all we've been doing is trying to find the light. The sparkle lights are on, we bask in the sun when we can, lighting candles at night. Dreaming of brighter times.

Hello Summer :: CTK

The June kits from Citrus Twist Kits are so bright and summery, it made me long for warmer, sunnier times! So instead, I reminisced about last summer with this layout. Inspired by this video, I used a 9x12 page protector and filled it with patterned paper, vellum, doilies and stamped circles. I used alpha dies from Freckled Fawn to cut out the title from fun foam. Pink, of course!

Ahh Summer, come back soon!

Five ways to Add Ephemera to Project Life

This video shows five simple ways to add various bits of ephemera that you've collected through-out your day into your Project Life album. Adding cards, receipts, packaging, bags and found papers is super simple and easy, a great way to add memorabilia without adding too much bulk.

Most of these lovelies were collected over my birthday weekend which seemed as good a reason as any to find a way to add them to my album. Enjoy!
