I got a new book out from the library yesterday, The Decorated Journal by Gwen Diehn, and was so inspired. I immediately set to work making myself a little winter art journal. I've been feeling so down this winter (and it is only the beginning) so I think it might be good to get it onto paper.
I found some lovely paper in my stash and made a cover out of corrugated card and some left over denim. I embroidered the word "congele", french for frozen on the cover and added some lovely clear, sparkly buttons. Here are the first few pages I did yesterday. I enjoyed using some different techniques and messing things up a bit.
