I had some fun getting messy with my gesso and paint in the weekend, working on some art journal pages/boards. Its a style I haven't worked in much, but it was really wonderful to really play with the paint and create some real texture and depth. I will definitely be doing this again but it does require a bit of time (and clean up!).
