This was such a difficult layout to put together. I was crying the entire time (which did make using a craft knife a much more dangerous proposition). I really wanted to honour my granddad, Alex, with a heartfelt and simple layout. I used an enormous amount of wood veneer and simple neutral tones with touches of copper. I miss him a lot but it was lovely to spend the time remembering him.
