Project Life :: Week 28

Lucky me got an early preview of Brandi Kincaid's August Extravagant Hope digital kit so I put it to good use. There's also a small tutorial for altering the size of a digital card to another size you need!

I love these alpha stamps from Feed Your Craft* too, they are so tiny and even though I struggled to find the best way to use them, I got there in the end!

Project Life :: Week 22

I'm still using the GLASS HALF FULL kit* and it is still my favourite kit ever from Brandi and Feed Your Craft.

The colours couldn't have been any more perfect for the photos in this week's spread and I love how bright and optimistic and colourful it is. The exact antidote to the doom and gloom of winter that seems to have settled in here.

Project Life :: Week 13

I used the gorgeous SHOW AND TELL kit from Feed Your Craft and Brandi Kincaid this week, along with some very old ribbon and a hand-stitched shaker pocket (because I managed to break my sewing machine but thats a whole other story for another day!)

Project Life :: Week 11

I was under the impression that today was Monday, not Tuesday, and I hadn't managed to find time to do this week's Project Life spread. But instead of giving up, I just made it as easy as possible for myself with the worlds smallest mini kit and some printables from Brandi Kincaid.

Here is how I quickly put this week's layout together and what I print my digital printables on...

How to alter the colour of digital cards :: Remember this

Don't you hate it when a card you LOVE just doesn't quite suit the page you are putting together?! If you are lucky enough to have a digital version, you can VERY easily change the colour to suit your pages!

I LOVE the HOLD TIGHT kit from Brandi Kincaid and Feed Your Craft and as soon as it arrived, I pulled it out and started putting together this page. But a couple of the cards didn't quite work with the colour scheme I had in mind. So I changed them! It couldn't be easier and I'm showing you a couple of different ways today! As well as a sneaky way to add a die cut to a shaker pocket without it being covered in sequins!

Here is how I altered the colours in my cards and put together this week's layout...

Project Life :: Week 48

I used Brandi's amazing new digitals for this week's spread. Some of them needed a tiny bit of altering to suit my already-printed photos, but that is SO easy to do. Add a bit of stamping and some journalling and I'm done in less than 30 minutes!

Here is how this week's spread came together...

Project Life :: Week 24

Maybe trying to knock out another week of Project Life while sick wasn't the greatest idea, but I love how it turned out regardless! The colours in the BETTER TOGETHER kit from Feed Your Craft were SO perfect with this weeks photos. I struggled a bit a couple of times, but overall it came together so easily!

Sweet Tooth

I didn't realise just how many sweet treats we've been having lately until I started looking back through my photos. I wanted to make a insert for my Project Life album and the Food for Thought digitals from Feed Your Craft and Brandi Kincaid were perfect for document our shared love of sugar! I printed out my photos in 3x3, trimmed down some of the digital cards to the same size, added some alphas, washi and Nuvo Drops and I was done.

Road Trip

You know a trip was good if you come home and have to start documenting it straight away! I just love The Great Escape digitals from Feed Your Craft and Brandi Kincaid for easily putting together a fun looking page. In fact we may need to take another trip very soon so I can make some more!
