I was inspired by a single die cut to tell this story of my early morning reading spot this December 🎄.
I put together a really simple page in my December Daily album using a full page photo, along with some December exclusives and cute digital cards from Citrus Twist Kits.
Today I'm sharing how I put together this super simple page to fill in the back of another layout in my December Daily album using some of the Holiday Magic collection from Pinkfresh Studio. I used a little bit of magic to add my journalling too!
Today I am doing a fun little collab with Alice from Absolutely Alice.
Alice makes the most amazing shaker envelopes that always inspire me to want to make one myself! So today I am using her tutorial to recreate one so that it fits inside my Life Crafted Album for my December Daily!
I started this spread by creating my own cut file and letting my Silhouette do most of the work. And then, weeks later, I had the perfect photo to go with it!
For these pages in my December (not quite) Daily Album, I used a few digital items from Citrus Twist Kits in a slightly different way – helping me create a hand-painted feel without any of the work!
Because I was so excited to start making pages in my December (not Quite) Daily album this year, and to make things a little easier on myself, I experimented with a few different page ideas at the start of the month so that I could quickly finish them up as inspiration and the right photos presented themselves. This is one of those pages!
First up in my December (not quite) Daily album ... coffee, of course! I created this simple printable in my Silhouette Studio software and then not quite so simply, stitched around all the lines! Simple and full of texture is going to be my motto for this album!
It happened again! Every year I avoid buying winter-themed Christmas supplies and then boom, hail storm in the middle of Summer! So I used the Jolly and Joyful kit from Feed Your Craft to create a chilly little layout for my album!
Tradition and marketing got me again you guys! ☕🎄☕🎄☕
I built my page around the colours of the packaging I used so it is ever-so-slightly less colourful than the rest of my album. But I find it a nice resting place for the eyes and it still has a lot of glitz and sparkle so it all works nicely together!
As well as my own album, this year I am also going to put together a little album celebrating Jack's first December too. I've prepped the album using the Christmas Stories kit from Citrus Twist and all the details are over on their blog today!
Here it is, all finished for another year. This still remains my favourite project of the year, but I am always ready to be finished and working on something else before New Years Eve!
This album is chunky. So chunky that I had to get bigger rings for it! But I love that even though I didn't work on anything "daily", I still end up with a brilliant little (ha) album filled with December memories at the end of it!
I sat down this morning to finish off the last few pages of my December Not Quite Daily album and I've run out of anything other the full page protectors! Which is the perfect excuse to create my own! Customising your own page protectors is easy and fun and of course I had to add sequins!
Here is the process for how my pages came together...
