December (not quite) Daily :: Coffee and Cards

One of my favourite Christmas traditions is getting myself some delicious flavoured coffee, and this year was no exception. The packaging was SO good, I had to include it as well so I ended up with a three page spread!

I used printable cards from my December Dreams collection and Push Print Studio as well as that gorgeous teal dot foil paper from American Crafts!

I also made a little card holder for my album. We don't normally receive too many cards, so I like to have them somewhere in my album. And I would usually just slip them in a page protector, but this year I wanted something a little more special and when I saw those little lightbulb button, I knew exactly what that would be!

Pocket Page Notebook :: Our Last December

This photo is terrible. It's grainy and out of focus and badly-lit and is one of the most special photos I have. Our last Christmas with our Granddad, and the last time I saw him before he passed away. I am so grateful for these memories and it definitely had to go in my December Memories Pocket Page Notebook.

I used some of the more masculine papers from the December Dreams kit, along with some of the labels for journalling and some Kellie Stamps alphas for the title.

Project Life :: Week 39

It's so easy to use a "themed" digital kit (like my December Dreams kit) to create "non-themed" projects. This week I used all the plainer pieces to put together a Project Life spread I LOVE.

Most kits include simpler patterns and plainer embellishments that can easily be converted into different projects. Cropping things differently and adding different textures and embellishments, quickly has them looking differently to how they were intended. I didn't change any colours this time, but you can easily alter colours in Photoshop as well for a completely different look.

Here is how I altered my digital kit to create this week's spread...

Pocket Page Notebook :: Merry Little

When I was thinking of stories I wanted to include in my December Memories Pocket Page Notebook, I knew I'd have to include the story of Lily's first Christmas. We bought her a toy dog that ended up being bigger than she was. Luckily she loved it so much, she still has it (although it is decidedly grosser now!)

I used my December Dreams kit again, but swapped out one of the papers for a full size photo instead. It didn't necessarily relate to the Lily story so I've got a two-for-one type spread going on.

Introducing :: December Dreams

Eeeee! My next collaboration with The Stamp Spot, the December Dreams digital Pocket Page and Traveler's Notebook kit, is available today!

We all have so many December Dreams! Sometimes they are exactly as we planned and completely magical and sometimes things don’t quite work out how we thought they would. But either way, it’s the most wonderful time of the year, one totally worthy of a little bit of documenting! Oh, what fun!

For this special season, the kit contains 20 digital papers sized just for your Traveler's or Pocket Page notebooks and two cut apart sheets of simple embellishments, including numbers, labels, cards, tags and words to make it easy to document your Decembers, both past and present, as well as co-ordinating easily with many other Christmas kits. (I mean, come on. I know you have at least one sitting there, ready to use. And probably more like 2 or 3, right? Or, is that just me?)

So, since December is still 40 days away, I’m going to start using the December Dreams kit to create a new Pocket Page notebook filled with Christmases gone by. Here are a few pages I've already put together...

For a closer look at the kit, check out the reveal video...

I've also got a process video up of one of the pages in my notebook, that I've put together using the December Dreams kit. Sequins? Of course, it wouldn't be Christmas without sequins!

I really hope you guys love this kit and that your December is shaping up to be a magical, fun and crafty one!
