One Little Word 2021 // November

This was such a nice OLW prompt for November, a little gratitude never goes astray! I added all my journaling and photos inside a file folder in my Life Crafted album and even found the perfect little stamp for the tab in amongst my stash!

I just wasn't up for another mixed media prompt so I chose to do something I'm much more comfortable with – stamping! Love how this little affirmation zine came together, without all the mess, in less than an hour!

One Little Word 2021 // September

Writing a poem (and then sharing it on the internet) is one of the more intimidating things I've done but here we are. Most of the hard work this month went into actually writing the poem so the rest of my spread was super simple. Sequins and stamps, now that's my kind of poetry!

One Little Word 2021 // July

Today I'm working on the July OLW prompt and getting about as messy as I like to get! I said last month that I was more interested in the arty prompts rather than the writing prompts, so this was right up my alley!

One Little Word 2021 // June

The June OLW prompt was a lot of reflection and writing and wasn't necessarily something I wanted on display in my album so today on my YT channel, I'm sharing how I made a little envelope to fit into my album to hide it away.

One Little Word 2021 // May (plus April update)

Am I the only one who "let go" of the April OLW prompt? I hope I'm not! But I'm getting back into the swing of things in May. And keeping things a little bit simpler, of course!

One Little Word 2021 // March

How's your OLW practice going this month? I've been working all month on my practice for March (journaling a little each day) but today over on my channel, I'm sharing what my plan was, how it's going and how I'm documenting my practice in my album.

One Little Word 2021 // February

Last year I made a big, messy, gluey vision board which is still hanging on my wall. But this year, I decided to stop procrastinating on this prompt (as I always do!) and just keep things simple!

One Little Word 2021 // January

Better late than never right?! I finally sat down and did the January prompt in my OLW album. So today I'm sharing a couple of tips for making your own transparent overlay and resizing some of the printables to fit into my Life Crafted album.

One Little Word 2020 // December

So, this is it. The last OLW prompt for 2020. Last month I wasn't ready to say goodbye, but this month, I am. Sort of. I know it's one that will stay with me and funnily enough, it turns out the word I've chosen for 2021 has been with me the whole time too! In the video below, you can see me wrap up this album, give you a quick flip through of the finished thing and discuss my plans for 2021!

One Little Word 2020 // November

How are you feeling about your word this year? Maybe I'm alone in this, but I am definitely not ready to say goodbye to my word yet! So I sort of adapted this months prompt a little to better suit how I'm feeling about things!

One Little Word 2020 // October

I changed things up a bit for this months #OLW prompt and used quotes instead of song lyrics. I also decided to revisit July's gelli-printing prompt because I haven't got messy since then and BOY did I feel rusty! Luckily, I've got a stash of favourite Gelli printing inspiration videos I can fall back on!

One Little Word 2020 // September

I loved the idea of an action spinner for this month's prompt but I really didn't think I could squeeze it into my already pretty full album. So instead I went with a lucky dip envelope page using some of the Chasing Butterflies collection from Rosie's Studio.

One Little Word 2020 // August

This month's #olw prompt was right up my alley, with all that repeat stamping! I dug through my stash and came up with SO many stamps that had a "story" theme!

I got messy with this month's #OLW prompt (well, as messy as it gets for me) with a bit of gelli printing. As much as I don't LOVE the unpredictable nature of this medium, I do kind of love it – if you know what I mean!

My #OLW20 is SPACE. I did this months prompt off-camera because it involved some heavy thinking and writing but I wanted to show you two different methods for creating a Life Crafted album sized envelope to add to your album.

One Little Word 2020 // May

My #OLW20 is SPACE. I love these visual prompts and I'm lucky because my word has shown up a LOT in my life lately so finding photos was easy and fun.

One Little Word 2020 // April

My #OLW20 is SPACE. And I didn't quite realise how that would manifest itself this year when I chose it! I'm getting a bit messy this month, both on the page and in my head, but happy to have the prompt done and ready to move onto May!

One Little Word 2020 // March

This month I'm practising a bit of self caring. Not the surface level kind I usually participate in, but finding time and space for the practices I KNOW I need to do to finally sort out the health issues I've been ignoring this year.

I was SO inspired by the layout that Alice shared last week, I HAD to scraplift it to add a bit of magic (*She's Magic to be precise) to my Life Crafted album this month.

One Little Word 2020 // February

This is always one of my favourite prompts from this class. It is the one time of year when I sit down and read through some magazines and then get messy. And I am ALWAYS amazed at what the end result turns out to be. I kind of feel like I'm just long for the ride. There isn't really a good way to "plan" how this one will go, it just becomes and that's what I love about it.

This year, I didn't do the collage inside my album, I created something I could keep visible, displayed in my room where I'll see it each and every day. Then I took a photo and added that into my album so I can also keep a record in there as well.
