Skulls, Roses and 100 Posts!

Here is my newest pendant, made from some goodies that came in the weekend from etsy, my tribute to rock and roll, which will be perfect tomorrow night when we go and listen to Luke's band play.


And remarkably, this is my 100th post! It comes round really quick. I'm really grateful for everyone who drops by and reads this, I hope they find it at least a little bit interesting. And to show my appreciation, the first person to leave a comment will get a little something in the post!

Letterpress Earrings : SHOP UPDATE

Am just about to update the shop with these four pairs of earrings created from the vintage letterpress numbering wheels (mentioned here) I got at work. Combined with delicate crystals and wire, they are a nice combination of cold hard machinery and delicate femininity. They are in the shop now.

More new earrings

I was already to go and pop myself off to bed for an early night but for some reason I decided that I just had to make a pair of earrings. And that pair turned into another and another. I worked until there was no light left and I had to get up and turn on the lights. Five pairs later I finally had used my inspiration and could head off to bed for another peaceful (somewhat) nights sleep.

New Earrings

Some new beads I got on TradeMe arrived today so I had to rush home tonight and create these. The blue beads came in a pack of all sorts of wooden beads and I wanted to make these earrings the moment I saw them so I bought the whole pack. I'll have to find something to do with the others now!

Pearly Bundles

I have made a couple of pairs of earrings the last few days and I really love these ones. They look like little bundles of pearl grapes. Fiddly but they look awesome on. Luckily my hair is finally long enough to tie back so you can see them. I am planning to have a very crafty/arty weekend this weekend so hopefully will have more to post next week. Hooray for weekends, it felt like this week would never end!
