I finally got my shop updated with all the paintings I've been doing in the last few months, including the two that I did in the weekend.

I get some much joy from creating things and these wee paintings always end up with a message that I need at the time. I'm sure everyone else needs them too!

12 things on 12.12.12

This only happens once a year and I finally realised what day it is before it's already over, so to celebrate, here are 12 random things...

1. I've been getting up an hour earlier than normal and it is amazing what I can get done. 
2. This morning I made a batch of delicious mixed berry muffins.
3. I think I'm mildly addicted to twinkle lights. I can't stop getting more.
4. I opened a new shop.
5. I'm feeling quite lonely this holiday season but I'm trying hard to distract myself. Usually with new twinkle lights.
6. I've never read so many books since getting my new iPad mini.
7. It was not an early Christmas present, it was a "I made it through this month" present.
8. I'm already having some ideas about what my word for next year might be. 
9. I can't even remember if I had a word this year, that's how poorly focused I was.
10. The weather this week has been so nice I even managed to break out a pair of sandals.
11. I had really high hopes for this year but it's been a bit of a mixed bag. 
12. So now I have high hopes for next year. Even though its an odd number and I don't really like odd numbers.

Blythe Headbands

Had a little photoshoot with Lorelei wearing one of the new headbands I made last night. I'm really pleased with how they turned out!

See I did get busy and started making a dint in the pile of cards. I am still deciding whether or not to put them in the shop or not? What do you think? I'd rather just swap them with someone, anyone keen? Sorry for the quality of photos, we are well into winter here which means I don't get to see the sun until August. I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark and I am well and truly over it. So no good photos until then, unless I actually remember to take them in the weekend (that is unless the rain is pouring down, which it usually is. Getting washing dry is a nightmare, don't even get me started!)

My new collection of drawings is up in the shop now. Themed "Under the Sea" it is a collection of cute underwater creatures. Jellyfish, dolphin, whale, seahorse and the above fishes. Have a look!

Letterpress Earrings : SHOP UPDATE

Am just about to update the shop with these four pairs of earrings created from the vintage letterpress numbering wheels (mentioned here) I got at work. Combined with delicate crystals and wire, they are a nice combination of cold hard machinery and delicate femininity. They are in the shop now.
