A good day...

...sometimes, when it is pouring with rain and your feet are wet and there is no food in the house for lunch and you still have hours of work to get through, it can turn out to be a pretty good day.

I do love a good mail day. I just had Daring Adventures in Paint, Mixed Media Girls and Brave Intuitive Painting delivered and I can't wait to crack open the spines and start getting messy.

A lovely week...

It has been a lovely week, made lovelier by thoughtful gifts from great friends!

Donna delivered me some beautiful fresh eggs from her hens, yum!

And Debbie sent me some Halloween pencils. Because she knows I love halloween as much as she does!

Thanks guys, you really did make my week! 

(Certainly more then the letters telling me I need another B12 injection - ouch, have another flat inspection, and have been called up for jury duty. Super mail week really!)

A good Mail Day!

It really was a terrible day yesterday, busy at work, two hour delay at doctors, blood tests and a headache. But when I got home last night, everything suddenly got better (until it got much worse again*).

Mail, and lots of it. Good mail too.

I got my fabulously cute fabric from ikoplus which arrived super quick and is even cuter in real life!

My cute tights arrived from Sock Dreams, now this was amazingly quick postage, only a few days which is almost totally unheard of between America and New Zealand. Plus the tights are lovely!

And the lovely Debbie sent me the most fabulous little cardigans for my Blythes. They are so cute and considering she didn't have a doll to fit them to, they are pretty much perfect!

I do love a good mail day.

*I then proceeded to get an upset stomach from dinner and attacked by the cat which left me covered in bandaids and crying in the bathroom. Today is going much better.

A good start to the morning.

I love getting fun mail, especially before I go to work in the morning. These really cute tapes are from MissMacau. I LOVE them so much. Can't wait to use them! Go check it out.

...she new she had to have one! So this is what I have made her. Hopefully she gets her parcel before she sees this!

Favourite Things!

I got Kelly's parcel yesterday and it couldn't have come at a better time. I had had a very lousy day and had to get a tooth filled after work just to top it off so by the time I got home I was feeling pretty low. That all changed however when I opened the box and saw this...

It was so beautiful, all pink and stripey! And inside, talk about generous. So many beautiful and luxurious things. Music, food, magazines (love, LOVE the Martha Stewart Weddings!), cosmetics, teas. It was so great. I'm still smiling. Thanks Kelly!

New Mail!

Slightly belated post today, Saturday was a really great mail day. I got my new tags from the PaperPixie and my new buttons from ScarlettCat came too! They are great so go and see if you can nab one (I got four, not all for me but gifts as well!).

I'm wearing one today with some of my other favourite little buttons, one from Lisa Corbett and one from Nut and Bee.

I received this beautiful buttons in the mail from Liza Corbett this week. Beautifully packaged, I couldn't throw it away, I had to put it in my album. The buttons are beautiful and you can get some here.

My Moo postcards came in the post yesterday. They are beautiful and glossy and I can't wait to get more. They may be too nice to give away!

Skulls, Roses and 100 Posts!

Here is my newest pendant, made from some goodies that came in the weekend from etsy, my tribute to rock and roll, which will be perfect tomorrow night when we go and listen to Luke's band play.


And remarkably, this is my 100th post! It comes round really quick. I'm really grateful for everyone who drops by and reads this, I hope they find it at least a little bit interesting. And to show my appreciation, the first person to leave a comment will get a little something in the post!

A new print and a new camera

My new print from PinkyToast arrived on Saturday and I used my new camera to take this shot of it in it's new home (next to my ScarlettCat print). There has been a lot of photo taking whist getting to know the new camera. But its pink and it fits in my handbag (in fact it is no bigger then my phone!) and I love it.

Buttons anyone?

My buttons/badges (so hard to decide what to call them) arrived yesterday in the post, as well as a coupe of other goodies, but this was definitely the icing on the cake. I love them! They look much better then I hoped. There was even a little extra fridge magnet in there! This is them all packed up and ready for the shop, which should be open on Friday! (fingers crossed!)

Its like someone is watching my life!

I get this cartoon everyday and it is spooky how it so often relates to my life! Always gives me a little chuckle in the morning which is exactly how I want to start the day.

MAIL!!

My 'Calypso" print from Scarlettcat arrived today, it was so quick, I only ordered it last Sunday. It was wrapped so pretty, with a gorgeous ribbon and sticker. Plus she had included a cute wee postcard as well!
